Manager, Talent Acquisition Operations and Innovation

The Manager, Talent Acquisition Operations and Innovation, will be part of the Global Talent Acquisition Operations and Innovation team. This role ensures operational excellence across TA processes and supports change management, process enablement, and technology adoption as the TA function evolves. The Manager will partner closely with TA Operations leadership and cross-functional teams to deliver efficient, scalable, and compliant recruiting operations. You will lead a team of Talent Acquisition Coordinators responsible for global interview scheduling and pre-employment verifications.  

 

About the Role 

In this opportunity as Manager, Talent Acquisition Operations and Innovation, your key responsibilities will be:

Team Leadership & Coordination: 

  • Manage and develop a global team of TA Coordinators, ensuring high-quality interview scheduling and pre-employment verification processes. 

  • Foster a collaborative and customer-focused culture that prioritizes candidate and hiring manager experience. 

Process Enablement & Continuous Improvement: 

  • Standardize and optimize workflows for efficiency and compliance across regions. 

  • Identify opportunities for process improvements using AI and automation to reduce time-to-fill and enhance service delivery. 

Change Management & Technology Projects: 

  • Collaborate on deployment of next generation recruiting platforms, digital/AI tools, and Workday solutions to optimize the full talent acquisition lifecycle. 

  • Support adoption of new & existing TA technologies and processes through training, communication, and stakeholder engagement. 

Data Insights & Reporting: 

  • Monitor and report on key operational metrics (e.g., scheduling accuracy, turnaround times). 

  • Provide insights to inform decision-making and improve TA operations. 

Stakeholder Partnership: 

  • Act as a liaison between TA Team and HR partners to ensure alignment and smooth execution of processes. 

 

About You 

You’re a fit for the role of Manager, Talent Acquisition Operations and Innovation if you have the following required qualifications:   

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience 

  • 5+ years of experience in Talent Acquisition, Talent Acquisition Operations, or HR Systems. 

  • Strong understanding of recruiting workflows, compliance requirements, and global operating models.  

  • Experience with Workday and strong working knowledge with TA technology platforms.  

  • Demonstrated ability to identify process pain points, translate business needs into detailed requirements, and collaborate with digital teams to design and implement enhancements that optimize TA workflows. 

  • Skilled in partnering with Talent Acquisition, Legal, Compliance, HR Systems and other key stakeholders to align processes with organizational goals and regulatory requirements. 

  • Excellent organizational and communication skills.  

  • Ability to manage change and drive process improvements in a fast-paced environment. 

  

Additional preferred qualifications include:  

  • Demonstrated experience in leading teams, mentoring, or delivering training programs to a team 

  • Strong understanding of global background screening regulations, data privacy laws (e.g., GDPR), and employment compliance standards across multiple regions. 

  • Proven ability to establish and enforce global standards for assessment tools and processes while managing workflows to ensure fairness, compliance, and a positive candidate experience. 

  • Experience in managing vendor relationships, including performance monitoring and contract compliance. 

  • Skilled in operationalizing global sourcing strategies leveraging next-generation recruiting platforms and technologies.

Thomson Reuters complies with local laws that require upfront disclosure of the expected pay range for a position. The base compensation range varies across locations. For any eligible US locations, unless otherwise noted, the base compensation range for this role is $100,100 USD - $185,900 USD. Base pay is positioned within the range based on several factors including an individual’s knowledge, skills and experience with consideration given to internal equity. Base pay is one part of a comprehensive Total Reward program which also includes flexible and supportive benefits and other wellbeing programs. This role may also be eligible for an Annual Bonus based on a combination of enterprise and individual performance.
