FID Client Strats | Senior Associate / Vice President
The FID Client Strats team is seeking a highly motivated Senior Associate or Vice President to support the Securitized Products Group (SPG) sales organization
This role sits at the intersection of sales, trading, data, and technology, partnering closely with SPG sales leadership and senior stakeholders in New York and globally. The SPG Client Strat will help drive day‑to‑day sales strategy and execution by translating market intelligence, client insight, and large, complex datasets into clear priorities and actions. A core focus of the role is improving sales effectiveness through advanced analytics, automation, and the thoughtful application of AI‑enabled tools.
Role Profile
Partner with SPG sales leadership to shape client coverage strategy, prioritization, and preparation for key client interactions, using data‑driven insights and analytical frameworks.
Design, build, and maintain analytical tools, dashboards, and workflows to support sales strategy, client engagement, and management decision making.
Analyze and synthesize market activity, client behavior, and product trends across securitized products, distilling complex signals into actionable insights.
Identify and drive opportunities to improve efficiency and quality of decision making through automation, advanced analytics, and AI‑supported tools.
Support and enhance recurring sales workflows, including client analysis, activity tracking, and preparation of sales and management materials.
Collaborate closely with technology, data, and business partners to test, adopt, and scale new capabilities that improve sales productivity and insight generation.
Coordinate across sales, trading, and other internal teams to ensure alignment on SPG priorities and strategic initiatives.
Skills & Experience
Strong understanding of securitized products and institutional client dynamics, with the ability to connect market structure and client behavior to analytics and tooling.
Advanced technical, analytical, and coding skills, with experience building solutions (e.g., scripts, models, dashboards, or tools) that translate complex data into clear, actionable insights for senior stakeholders.
Proven experience working with data platforms, analytics tools, and productivity solutions in a front‑office or client‑facing context.
Demonstrated interest in, and practical application of, automation, AI, and advanced analytics to improve day‑to‑day workflows, decision making, and business processes.
Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly to sales, trading, and senior leadership audiences.
Highly organized, proactive, and comfortable operating in a fast‑paced environment, managing multiple priorities while maintaining a builder’s mindset.

Expected base pay rates for the role will be between $150,000 - $200,000 per year for Associate and $225,000 - $250,000 for Vice President, at the commencement of employment. However, base pay if hired will be determined on an individualized basis and is only part of the total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, incentive compensation, discretionary bonuses, other short and long-term incentive packages, and other Morgan Stanley sponsored benefit programs.
