In this role, you’ll work closely with engineering, marketing, sales, and services teams to translate real customer needs into product direction that scales across complex enterprise architectures.

You’ll balance deep ArcGIS Enterprise expertise with a strong curiosity for AI, ensuring ArcGIS Enterprise remains a critical pillar of Esri’s platform strategy. Your work will directly influence how organizations deploy, trust, and operationalize AI within their most mission‑critical geospatial systems.

Responsibilities
  • Gather and prioritize feedback from end users and administrators to inform product strategy, roadmap decisions, and future investments
  • Define and communicate product direction for ArcGIS Enterprise and its AI‑related capabilities, informed by market trends and competitive analysis
  • Translate customer problems into clear, actionable requirements and advocate for them across strategy, roadmap, and development discussions
  • Partner with engineering, marketing, sales, services, and partners to support successful delivery, launch readiness, and adoption
  • Build and maintain product content such as technical papers, best practices, enablement materials, and internal guidance
  • Build awareness across Esri’s global workforce of ArcGIS Enterprise system patterns and its role within the ArcGIS platform and AI ecosystem
  • Represent ArcGIS Enterprise and AI in customer engagements, partner interactions, and industry events, ensuring consistent product messaging
Requirements
  • 2+ years of experience in a product‑related role (product management, engineering, development, support, or consulting)
  • Hands‑on experience with ArcGIS Enterprise in a product planning, support, consulting, or deployment context
  • Familiarity with ArcGIS Enterprise licensing, including server roles, extensions, and capabilities
  • Proven ability to translate customer needs into product requirements and drive prioritization across teams
  • Ability to coordinate people and technical resources across multiple organizations and disciplines
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to both technical and executive audiences
  • Strong problem‑solving, organizational, and time‑management skills
  • Willingness to travel up to 20% for customer engagements, conferences, and strategic meetings
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, geography/GIS, or a related STEM field
Recommended Qualifications
  • Familiarity with ArcGIS Enterprise architecture best practices and common deployment patterns
  • Working knowledge of standard IT concepts, terminology, and enterprise environments
  • Experience with cloud and database technologies, including SQL and file‑based storage services
  • Prior experience contributing to a software development, technical consulting, training, or product support team
  • Certification in product management, project management, or change management (Pragmatic Institute, PMI, or equivalent)
