DESCRIPTION
We are looking for a talented Line Human Resources Generalist to join our Human Resources team of Cummins Drivetrain and Braking Systems (CDBS) in Fletcher, NC.

RESPONSIBILITIES
Primary areas you will support to succeed in this role:
HR Operations & Employee Support
- Provide onsite HR support to employees and leaders, addressing inquiries, resolving concerns, and ensuring consistent application of HR policies and practices.
- Support employee grievance handling, counseling, and facilitation of issue resolution.
- Support Answers tickets for employee life cycle actions
- Understanding of HRIS systems
Time & Attendance / Kronos
- Support attendance processes.
- Provide Kronos system support, ensuring accurate timekeeping, attendance compliance, and resolution of discrepancies.
Payroll & Reimbursements
- Support payroll processes by validating hours, addressing pay-related questions, and ensuring timely submission of adjustments or corrections.
- Process employee reimbursements and related transactions in alignment with policy.
Employee Relations
- Support investigations by gathering information, documenting findings, and partnering with HR leader as needed.
- Assist in the administration of corrective actions, ensuring consistency, fairness, and proper documentation.
Employee Engagement & Communication
- Support site engagement activities, including planning and execution of employee events and initiatives.
- Coordinate communication efforts such as all employee meetings and HR updates to ensure employees receive timely and relevant information.
- Conduct HR GEMBA walks to maintain connection with employees and identify opportunities to improve workplace culture and processes.
Recognition Programs
- Administer employee recognition initiatives, including service awards and sitelevel recognition programs.
Education, Licenses, Certifications:
College, university, or equivalent degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field or equivalent experience required.
Experience:
Minimal relevant work experience required.
QUALIFICATIONS
This is an Onsite role. Will need 3rd shift operations support as well as per business needs.
