About the teamKinaxis is on the lookout for an engineering manager for the Front-end team. The team consists of collaborative, high-performing engineers with the mandate to build out a modern platform and web client. We build user-friendly features to help our users visualize their supply chains, empowering them to make informed decisions to resolve their challenges effectively. Performance is a top priority as we need to handle our customers’ large complex datasets efficiently. We have designed our code architecture to be robust and easily maintained, while supporting a large team of engineers. You will be working closely with the director of front-end technologies and other managers to execute and plan on our strategic roadmap to further position Kinaxis as a leader in supply chain management.
What you will do- You will lead an engineering team dedicated to creating full stack solutions that will be used across our product
- You will guide your team to design, build and automate applications to meet the business roadmap for Maestro
- Collaborate closely with other teams in frontend, product managers, UX designers
- Assist in producing the detailed functional requirements and specifications for roadmap features
- Promote software development best practices and participate in code reviews
- Set challenging and achievable goals for team members and provide feedback on performance
- Java, TypeScript, React
- Junit, Jest, TestCafe
- C#, .NET
- GoJS, Highcharts
- Bachelors/master’s degree in computer science or equivalent
- Total 16+ years of industry experience, predominantly in building full stack applications for the web
- 5+ years in leading an engineering team
- Experience in automation of Enterprise grade web applications
- Strong understanding of Java and .NET
- Experience in building REST APIs
- Worked previously with tools like – Jenkins, GIT, Bitbucket
- Experience with a variety of web automation frameworks like Selenium, TestCafe, Junit
- Working knowledge of JavaScript and/or TypeScript (Typescript preferred)
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
