Your Team

Because Invesco understands data and the products created from data are the lifeblood of our business, we have created a Global Data & Analytics team within ETS. ETS is a linchpin of an ecosystem of data- first functions that will work together seamlessly to enable Invesco to achieve the true value of data and data products. ETS will empower Invesco to leverage data as a strategic asset by making quality, trusted data and content available to the right people, at the right time, in the right format, in the most efficient way possible to enable both large transformations and day-to-day operations.

Your Role

Data Steward executes on the defined data strategy and roadmaps to improve the quality, availability, and usability of their respective domain data. They develop a strong understanding of their data domain, including both how it is produced and consumed and how to apply Data strategy and practices to drive data capabilities forward. All work is done in partnership with business and technology stakeholders to ensure consistency of services and deliverables. They perform complex “hands-on-keys” work to identify, research, and remediate data quality issues, create processes to prevent recurrence, and measure continual improvement in data quality.

The Data Steward is crucial to enable and track progress against Invesco’s strategy – trustworthy data is foundational to deliver a superior investment and client experience and is responsible for:

• Support multiple Data Domains by ensuring the integrity, quality, and availability of data.
• Execute daily operational activities required to produce, validate, and deliver high‑quality data to consuming systems and functions.
• Proactively identify, investigate, escalate, and resolve data issues.
• Perform initial triage and root-cause analysis of data issues and route findings appropriately.
• Develop and implement processes to prevent recurring data quality issues.
• Consistently propose enhancements related to data usability, presentation, and quality.
• Analyze trends and themes across data issues and errors and recommend sustainable solutions.
• Partner closely with Data Product Owners to provide data analysis support for development, enhancement, and research initiatives.
• Collaborate with senior associates on strategic projects to build subject matter expertise.
• Continuously build knowledge of data management practices, Invesco’s business, and industry trends through formal and self-directed learning.

• Experience with additional data analysis or visualization tools such as VBA, Python, Alteryx, or Power BI is a plus.

Academic Requirements

• MBA Finance (2026 Batch)
• No current backlogs
• 60% or equivalent CGPA/CQPI throughout 10th, 12th
