DESCRIPTION

We are looking for a talented Data Analyst to join our team specializing in Systems/Information Technology for our Columbus, IN location.

RESPONSIBILITIES

To be successful in this role you will need the following:    

  • Analytical Mindset: Ability to conduct descriptive and diagnostic analytics to uncover trends, patterns, and root causes in complex data sets.
  • Machine Learning Proficiency: Familiarity with machine learning tools and techniques to enhance data quality and automate data-driven improvements.
  • Business Intelligence Skills: Experience creating clear, actionable reports and dashboards using BI technologies to communicate insights effectively.
  • Data Profiling Expertise: Skill in assessing data tables and elements to identify quality issues, redundancies, and opportunities for optimization.
  • Metadata & Catalog Management: Attention to detail in maintaining accurate data catalog entries and ensuring high-quality metadata for discoverability and governance.
  • Data Quality & Cleansing Knowledge: Ability to identify and resolve data coherency and integrability issues and collaborate on developing effective cleansing rules and methods.
  • Documentation & Process Discipline: Strong organizational skills to support the creation and maintenance of documentation for key decisions, rules, and processes.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Comfort working across teams to align data practices with business needs, ensuring data integrity and usability for decision-making.

Education, Licenses, Certifications: 

College, university, or equivalent degree in relevant technical discipline, or relevant equivalent experience required. This position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations.  

Experience: 

Relevant experience preferred such as working in a temporary student employment, intern, co-op, or other extracurricular team activities.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Minimum 2 years of experience preferred.
  • Responsible for generating the weekly NA CDBS Ops scorecard.  Safety, Quality, Cost, Delivery, Inventory.
  • Responsible for consolidating Past Due order boards and help conduct counter measures meetings to help meet 2025 AOP targets. 
  • Take leading role in OpEx savings reporting in staff meeting to help bring visibility and countermeasures that drive us to meet FY25 AOP. 
  • Work with operations team to develop monthly Operations Plant performance reviews that mirror CDBS FY25 Goal Tree & Ops leader work plan.  

Knowledge of the latest technologies and trends in data science is highly preferred and includes:

  • SQL query language execution on NOSql and SQL sources
  • Exposure to Agile software development
  • Exposure to IoT technology
  • Data profiling tools, technologies and coding
  • Data Catalog tools and technologies
  • Business intelligence tools and technologies 
  • Exposure to Big Data open source
  • Clustered compute cloud-based implementation experience

Please note that the salary range provided is a good faith estimate on the applicable range. The final salary offer will be determined after considering relevant factors, including a candidate’s qualifications and experience, where appropriate.
