We’re seeking someone to join the Risk AI Applications team that designs, develops, and implements AI tools that enhance the efficiency of the Firm's risk management processes and help risk managers to gain new insights.

In the Firm Risk Management division, we advise businesses across the Firm on risk mitigation strategies, develop tools to analyse and monitor risks and lead key regulatory initiatives.

What you’ll do in the role:

  • Contributes hands-on to coding using Python and AI/ML models, with a focus on natural language processing (NLP) and Large Language Models (LLMs) such as GPT-4

  • Collaborates and interacts with risk managers, model reviewers, and other internal and external stakeholders

  • Operates as part of a global team Required Skills

What you’ll bring to the role:

  • 1-4 years of relevant work experience in AI/ML, software development, or related fields

  • Graduate/post-graduate degree in a quantitative field such as Computer Science, Mathematics, Mathematical Finance, Physics, Statistics, Engineering, or equivalent

  • Proven track record of Python programming

  • Strong understanding of AI/ML concepts and familiarity with model development best practices

  • Good understanding of financial concepts and products

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to communicate with both specialist and non-technical stakeholders

  • Excellent command of English, both written and verbal

  • Creative problem-solving skills

Desired Skills

  • Familiarity with financial models

  • Programming experience with JavaScript
