We are looking for a talented Sales Manager to join our team specializing in Sales for EU Aftermarket MERITOR in Poland .

We are seeking for a specialist with a proven track record within the Independent Aftermarket (IAM) , specifically a deep understanding of Heavy-Duty (HD) Truck axle and braking components to drive regional growth .

This role offers the flexibility to work remotely anywhere in Poland, with frequent business travel required to the Baltic countries, Ukraine and Moldova.

In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:

  • Drive sustainable revenue growth by expanding existing customer relationships and identifying new business opportunities across assigned accounts.
  • Build trusted, long-term partnerships by acting as the primary point of contact and championing the voice of the customer internally.
  • Execute account sales plans that align customer needs with business strategy, delivering measurable commercial results.
  • Differentiate the organization’s products and services by clearly articulating value propositions and competitive advantages.
  • Strengthen customer satisfaction by analysing feedback data, developing action plans, and continuously improving service quality.
  • Collaborate across business units and regions to support integrated account development and optimize outcomes for complex customers.
  • Maintain accurate sales forecasts and pipeline visibility to support informed decision-making and operational planning.
  • Support cost efficiency and operational excellence by coordinating production, delivery, inventory, and accounts receivable activities.

RESPONSIBILITIES

To be successful in this role you will need the following:

  • Strong customer focus with the ability to build trust, communicate effectively, and adapt messaging to diverse audiences and cultures.
  • Proven account planning, sales forecasting, and pipeline management skills to consistently meet revenue and growth targets.
  • Commercial acumen, including pricing strategy, contract negotiation, and channel awareness within regional and international markets.
  • Ability to synthesize customer insights, market trends, and internal data into actionable account strategies.

QUALIFICATIONS

Education/ Experience:

  • Sector Expertise: Minimum of 5–8 years of proven sales or business development experience specifically within the Independent Aftermarket (IAM) .
  • Product Knowledge: Deep technical familiarity with Heavy-Duty (HD) Truck & Trailer components , with a strong preference for experts in axles, braking systems (disc/drum), and chassis parts .
  • Distribution Mastery: Extensive experience managing relationships with aftermarket distributors , buying groups (e.g., Nexus, Temot, GAU), and large-scale independent workshops/fleets.
  • Territory Presence: A documented history of high-activity field sales, including frequent on-site visits to customer branches and regional hubs to conduct product training and commercial reviews.
  • Technical Communication: Ability to translate complex technical specifications of axle and brake performance into clear commercial value propositions for both procurement managers and technical workshop leads.
  • Data Discipline: A "Commit and Deliver" mindset with a high level of proficiency in CRM (Salesforce) and Excel , utilizing data to build accurate monthly sales forecasts and strategic territory plans.
  • College or university degree in business, marketing, sales, technical disciplines, or equivalent industry experience.
  • Significant B2B sales experience, including customer relationship management and product or solution selling.
  • Experience with commercial contract negotiation and international or regional account management.
  • Fluency in English and Polish; proficiency in at least one Baltic language (e.g., Latvian, Lithuanian, or Estonian) or Ukrainian/Romanian, Russian.
  • Prior experience in the industrial sector (e.g., engines, machinery distribution) with knowledge of Baltic/CEE regulatory or logistics challenges.
