Job Summary:

Performs electrical maintenance and machine support tasks to keep equipment available and capable. Selects and uses appropriate tools, machinery and specialty equipment completing work with limited guidance. Learns and understand the protocols of working safely with electricity and other energy sources with industrial equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Perform corrective, predictive, and preventive electrical and electronic maintenance services of varying levels of complexity in production areas, ensuring compliance with specifications and the original design, interpreting technical manuals and maintenance plans, and adhering to safety and quality procedures.
• Knowledge of machine tools and CNC machines, closed-loop axis control, numerical control (NC 840 D and Fanuc); PLC/Ladder programs (Siemens TIA Portal); Siemens Power Line and Solution Line motor drives; electronic components (encoders, frequency inverters, sensors, etc.).
• Basic knowledge and experience in robotics and industrial automation.
• Improve and modify electrical and electronic systems of machines and devices in general, with the aim of eliminating chronic or sporadic failures. Perform testing and repairs on an electronic component test bench.
• Certification under Regulatory Standard NR-10.
• Develop content and share knowledge with team members, as required and guided.
• Monitor and conduct tests on new machines, materials, services, facilities, and industrial equipment, as well as services provided by third parties.
• Occasionally move parts and equipment undergoing maintenance using forklifts, when properly certified (certificates held by the Industrial Safety Department).

Factory Automation and Control Systems - Implements changes to further automate manufacturing processes using available technology, programming techniques, and identifying needed material and resources for project completion to provide the optimum automation for the manufacturing environment.
Machine Programming - Creates factory floor machine programs by designing and implementing solutions to improve usage of machine and overall operation.
Manufacturing Knowledge - Demonstrates the knowledge of manufacturing by correctly implementing changes in current processes, equipment, and applications to meet the function's needs and contribute towards continuous improvement.

Education, Licenses, Certifications:
High school diploma;
Technical degree in Electronics/Electrical and Electronics from SENAI or equivalent;
Experience:
Solid experience in the maintenance of CNC and conventional machines, washing machines, presses, assembly lines, robots, conveyors, and auxiliary equipment.
