What you will do
As a Senior Demand Planner (Hybrid), you will play a critical role in developing accurate demand signals that connect commercial demand insights with global supply execution. You will influence decision-making across Demand, Supply, and Integrated Business Planning (IBP) leadership by translating complex data into actionable insights that protect service levels, optimize inventory, and mitigate business risk.
This is a highly visible role that partners closely with Selling Divisions, Global Operations plants, and cross-functional teams to ensure accurate demand signals and seamless execution across Stryker’s global network. This is a hybrid role, and we are seeking candidates located in or near Mahwah, New Jersey, who can come into the office on an as-needed basis.
Analyze and resolve gaps between the Global Net Requirement plan and demand plan, incorporating product lifecycle changes, inventory shifts, and market dynamics.
Develop and deploy planning tools, dashboards, and insights that improve forecast accuracy and drive adoption across domestic and global demand teams.
Proactively support new product launches, partnering with regional planners to ensure demand readiness and execution alignment.
Lead and facilitate key planning forums, including monthly requirement reviews, plant demand handoffs, and IBP reconciliation meetings, driving issue resolution and accountability.
Support portfolio management and phase-out initiatives, identifying risks early and executing mitigation strategies.
Monitor, trend, and report forecast error and bias, partnering with selling divisions to drive continuous improvement at the brand and SKU level.
Identify demand and supply planning process gaps and lead improvement initiatives to strengthen planning effectiveness and resiliency.
Prepare executive-ready content for Requirement, Handover, IBP, and EIBP meetings and contribute as a leader within the IBP Center of Excellence, mentoring and enabling planning peers globally.
What you need
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in engineering, business supply chain management or related field
4 years’ working experience with demand/inventory planning in manufacturing environment
- Proficiency in Excel and Power BI for analyzing large data sets, with experience using demand and supply planning tools such as Oracle, Demantra, or SAP ASCP/SNP
Preferred Qualifications
International experience or experience working with plants and divisions located globally
77,200 – 160,900 salary plus bonus eligible + benefits. Individual pay is based on skills, experience, and other relevant factors
