DESCRIPTION

We are looking for a talented 95L 3 rd Shift Team Manager to join our team specializing in Manufacturing for our Cummins Inc. facility in Seymour, IN.

In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:

  • Lead Daily Operations: Oversee the day-to-day activities of the production team to ensure smooth workflow and timely achievement of production targets.
  • Drive Performance Excellence: Monitor team performance, set clear expectations, and provide constructive feedback to foster continuous improvement and accountability.
  • Enhance Safety Standards: Collaborate across functions to identify and implement safety improvements, promoting a culture of workplace safety.
  • Optimize Productivity & Efficiency: Recommend and support initiatives that streamline operations, reduce waste, and enhance overall productivity.
  • Champion Quality Assurance: Work with cross-functional teams to uphold high-quality standards and resolve any issues impacting product integrity.
  • Mentor and Develop Talent: Provide coaching and mentorship to team members, supporting their professional growth and skill development.
  • Facilitate Effective Communication: Serve as a liaison between team members and leadership, ensuring clear communication of goals, changes, and expectations.
  • Lead Strategic Projects: Act as the group lead on key projects and assignments, driving results and fostering collaboration across departments.

Education, Licenses, Certifications:

College, university or equivalent degree required, or equivalent experience required. This position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations.

Experience:

Supervisory experience preferred.
