Position summary:
This role is responsible for government affairs and market access project results specifically focusing on reimbursement and public pricing areas in the region, as well as maximizing Stryker’s market presence and fulfilling the business demand by obtaining operation excellence on government tender, billing code pricing and reimbursement application.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities: (Detailed Description)
Establish and maintain a communication platform for relevant provincial government departments, NGOs and other stakeholders such as the Medical Insurance Bureau, the bidding office, the Healthcare Commission, etc. Interpret and predict the development direction of local bidding, price, medical insurance, health and other local medical reform policies with influence to find business opportunities and control risks for Stryker. Predict the bidding, price, medical insurance, and health reform policies in the region, communicate with the government authorities in advance, accurately interpret the relevant policy documents, and give suggestions on market access strategies according to Stryker's business needs. [20%]
Timely grasp the bidding policies and information in the region and transfer them to the relevant departments of Stryker. Master the timeline of each important government centralized procurement. Organize and coordinate the BU to participate in the centralized procurement of important consumables (provincial, regional alliance, etc.) in the region, participate in the formulation of the company's overall bidding strategy, formulate appropriate bidding scheme according to the situation of each BU, and coordinate the relevant departments to achieve the objectives [30%]
Provide coaching, suggestions and support to local BU on government policies and strategies such as bidding, pricing and medical insurance; promote action plans, coordinate and promote the achievement of policy objectives such as bidding projects, price charging projects, medical insurance consumables warehouse access and payment standard formulation. Education & Experience:
Bachelor’s degree and above, major in Medicine, Pharmacy, Public Health or related.
At least 6 years’ working experience in government tender of pharmaceutical or medical devices, market access or government affairs.
Have comprehensive understanding of the current market situation and prospects of medical device industry.
