DESCRIPTION

In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:

  • Key responsibilities would include the following types of tasks that support the Manufacturing team.
  • Utilize ACAD for layouts, coordinate organization / generation of machine documentation, audit labeling all special tools, Assist with Process Qualification Plans, Pure Safety task execution, equipment/fixture/tool setup & debug, etc.
  • Work cross functionally with Maintenance, Safety, Operations, Materials, and Quality groups to support manufacturing projects.

RESPONSIBILITIES

To be successful in this role you will need the following:

  • Basic understanding of AutoCAD is preferred.
  • Drives results - Consistently achieving results, even under tough circumstances.
  • Action oriented - Taking on new opportunities and tough challenges with a sense of urgency, high energy, and enthusiasm.
  • Collaborates - Building partnerships and working collaboratively with others to meet shared objectives.
  • Successful applicant will be working onsite day shift hours supporting Manufacturing Engineering at the
  • Applicants must have good communication skills and be self-starter.
  • STW employees are restricted to working no more than 19 hours weekly
  • STW employees must be at least 16 years of age at the time of hiring

QUALIFICATIONS

This job will involve the support of Cummins XPC manufacturing. Most work will be administrative but there will be some projects that involve work in the manufacturing environment. Some technical work including GR&R's and process capability studies will also be required with the assistance of a Quality Engineer.
