• Performs cashiering duties, including making cash transactions, verifying cash drawers, giving change, counting cash receipts and completing cash reports. Will also perform barista role and/or general food service work. Maintains sanitation standards in the preparation, service and dining room facilities. This role may include the preparation and serving of branded coffee beverages or serving cafeteria menu items at an assigned station. Ensuring all working areas are kept clean and tidy.
• Works primarily in the food service operation, handling cash and credit transactions. Will also serve as a Barista. 
• Operate the cash register and complete transactions with a customer-first approach. Performs sales transactions in a timely fashion. Enter all sales into the cash register to ensure purchases are accurately recorded. Makes change, accepts declining balance cards and other acceptable forms of payment; issues receipts to customers.
• Replenishes condiments, coffee, other beverages and general supplies while maintaining cleanliness of service areas. May assist in setup and serving of food from counters and steamtables. Duties will include cleaning and sanitizing equipment and work stations.
• Interacts with customers in a friendly, service-oriented manner. Responsible for all assigned change funds and cash receipts ensuring that cash drawer is in compliance with overage/shortage standards.
• These responsibilities may differ among accounts, depending on business necessities and requirements. Performs other duties as assigned.

• HS Diploma or GED required.
• Self-motivated, excellent communication skills with proven track record in providing excellent guest service.
• Must be able to follow verbal instructions, written recipes and instructions for menu items.
• Proactive team player, flexible with strong organizational skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, ability to adapt to change in a positive manner.
• Overtime required, flexible work schedule at times. Willing to work in any other job duties that may be assigned.

• The compensation range described below is the range of possible base pay compensation that the Company believes in good faith it will pay for this role at the time of this posting based on the job grade for this position. Individual compensation paid within this range will depend on many factors including geographic location, and we may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range.
