Weekend Shift:
Friday-Saturday: 5:00am-7:00pm
Sunday: 5:00am-6:30pm
Weekday training will be required: Monday-Friday 6:00am-2:30pm
What you will do:
Support daily powdercoat operations and respond to production issues that impact safety, quality, or throughput.
Troubleshoot and repair powdercoat equipment, including conveyors, ovens, spray booths, guns, pumps, reclaim systems, and wash systems.
Monitor line performance and identify opportunities to improve uptime, first-pass yield, and efficiency.
Perform preventive maintenance and support corrective maintenance activities.
Assist with root cause analysis for defects such as poor adhesion, contamination, orange peel, light coverage, runs, and color variation.
Support setup, programming, and adjustment of powdercoat equipment and process parameters.
Work with engineering teams on equipment upgrades, process improvements, and new product launches.
Document process changes, troubleshooting activities, and maintenance records.
Support testing, validation, and implementation of new materials, equipment, and process changes.
Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and quality standards.
Train operators on equipment use, troubleshooting, and standard work.
Support continuous improvement initiatives related to scrap reduction, labor efficiency, downtime, and quality.
What you will need:
Required Qualifications:
High School or GED
Proficiency in the use of calibrated devices and in the reading of detailed mechanical prints
Minimum of 3 or more years' of relevant experience
