Responsibilities:
- Support China import & export activities, including APIs, drug substances and bulk drug products by working closely with cross-functional teams (e.g., CDSM, CMC, GTC) and external CDMOs to ensure smooth execution. Identify operational risks (e.g. shipping delays, compliance gaps, CDMO non-alignment) and escalate to line manager with proposed solutions in a timely manner.
- Support the improvement of China import & export processes by collaborating with cross-functional teams (e.g., GTC, CDSM, CMC) to enhance efficiency and compliance.
- Manage local clinical supply vendors, including coordinating MSA, processing purchase orders, and supporting contract management by collaborating with Procurement and Finance teams.
- Support the maintenance and continuous update of databases for China-specific shipping requirements and manage internal trackers to enhance data visibility and tracking efficiency.
- Support China Clinical Supply team operations by facilitating internal meetings, coordinating interactions with global teams, and managing day-to-day operational arrangements.
- Perform other duties as assigned by line manager.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree or above with at least 5 years of experience in pharmaceutical R&D industry, including at least 2 years in clinical supply chain, CMC or clinical operation related roles.
- Ability to work independently with moderate guidance, with a strong team-oriented mindset and collaborative spirit.
- Ability to work with ambiguity and drive alignment across cross-functional teams.
- Strong ownership, proactive mindset, and effective execution capability.
- Knowledge of GMP, GCP, GTC, etc. on clinical supply operations in China.
- Experience in working with contract pharmaceutical organizations in China.
- Fluent in spoken and written Chinese and English.
