The Project Coordinator – General Management applies developing business process and project management skills within an assigned business or technical area. This role supports small, well-defined projects by providing administrative, coordination, and logistics support to project teams and Project Managers. The incumbent contributes to planning, tracking, communication, and risk management activities to help ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned with business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as a resource on assigned projects and work assignments, applying foundational project management knowledge and general business understanding.
  • Support the management of small portions of well-defined projects under the guidance of a Project Manager.
  • Identify, track, and collaborate with stakeholders to help resolve project issues and risks.
  • Monitor project progress and communicate status updates, milestones, and potential risks to the project team and Project Manager.
  • Assist with budget planning, expense tracking, research, and analytical support activities.
  • Provide input into the development of project plans, timelines, and deliverables.
  • Support project risk and issue management using recommended tools and quality methods.
  • Maintain accurate project documentation, including project notes, trackers, databases, and reports.
  • Document and share team learnings and best practices to support continuous improvement.
  • Provide administrative and logistical support to project teams, including coordination of meetings, actions, and follow-ups.

Project Management Capabilities

  • Project Resource Management: Assists in developing and tracking expense and headcount plans using recommended project management tools and processes.
  • Project Schedule Management: Supports schedule planning and tracking to drive completion within agreed timelines.
  • Project Scope Management: Helps manage project deliverables to ensure all required work—and only required work—is completed successfully.

QUALIFICATIONS

Qualifications

  • College, university, or equivalent degree required.
  • Minimal level of relevant work experience required.

Skills and Experience

  • 1–2 years of experience using Microsoft O365 tools, including Power BI, OneNote, MS Lists, and Power Apps.
  • 1–2 years of experience with Ariba and Purchase Order (PO) management.
  • 1–2 years of experience in project coordination or a related support role.
  • Basic understanding of project management principles, tools, and methodologies.
  • Ability to organize information, manage documentation, and track multiple tasks simultaneously.
