The Commodities Trading Risk Management Team (TRM) is seeking a detail-oriented and highly motivated Quantitative Risk Analyst/Associate to join our First Line of Defense function overseeing the division’s market risk.

In the Fixed Income division (FID), we work in fast-paced and constantly changing global markets to assess and manage risk, trade securities, manage relationships with clients, and structure and execute innovative transactions.
 

You Will:

  • Assist in designing and building risk analytics tools to monitor and assess market risk across Commodities trading desks.
  • Support development and maintenance of quantitative models to evaluate risk/reward profiles of financial instruments.
  • Apply data analytics to identify risk trends and contribute to real-time decision-making.
  • Monitor FID P&L and risk positions, escalating issues as appropriate.
  • Collaborate with Firm Risk Management (FRM) and Market Risk Management (MRD) on risk limit frameworks.
  • Perform analysis of trading activity, risk exposures, and P&L drivers using statistical techniques.
  • Contribute to building scalable infrastructure for risk reporting and visualization.

You Have:

  • Degree in Mathematics, Mathematical Finance, Physics, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related quantitative field.
  • Strong programming skills (Python, R, SQL) and familiarity with data visualization tools.
  • Solid understanding of financial markets, products, and risk metrics.
  • 0-3 years of experience or strong interest in risk, modeling, and analytical frameworks.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
