Department Profile:
Professionals within the Legal and Compliance Division (LCD) provide a wide range of services to our business units. They preserve the firm's invaluable reputation for integrity and protect the firm from sanctions with policies and procedures that meet regulatory requirements around the world. They also strive to maintain cooperative relationships with governmental policy makers and the regulatory and self-regulatory agencies that govern the firm's businesses.

The Non-Financial Risk (NFR) Department forms the second line of defense for management of the firm's non-financial risks, which include Financial Crimes, market manipulation or abuse and Operational risk.

Position Description:
The Non-Financial Risk Visualization & Reporting Solution (NFR VRS) team is responsible to deliver data sets, reporting products and analytical insights to a wide range of users within LCD by providing data innovative driven solutions utilizing industry standard tools to aid them in their responsibilities to measure, manage and mitigate risk.


Primary Responsibilities:
> Participate in various Data and Analytics related projects focusing on Reporting Data sets and Data Engineering
> Collaborate with stakeholders to understand requirements and transform them into effective reporting data products
> Use Data transformation tools to design, develop, and implement reporting ready Data sets for all users within the department
> Support Non-Financial Risk management by deriving actionable insights from data and leveraging quantitative and statistical techniques
> Provide guidance to key stakeholders on how to adopt data transformation and modeling best practices in collaboration with Technology functions
> Enhance program processes where opportunities exist and perform data driven analysis to support strategic projects that add value to the broader division Required Skills:
> Bachelor's degree in a related field
> 5 years of experience in a data related role including data visualization, reporting or data analysis
> Experience with querying and transforming large data sets
> Experience in creating data driven insights and analytics
> Experience with automation of data sourcing and transformation
> Good written and oral communication skills
> Ability to work with global, cross-functional teams

Desired Skills:
> Direct experience in the financial services industry
> Good understanding of project management principles
> Experience in the reporting and use of business data in support of business processes
> Familiarity with mainstream data processing and modeling programming languages (Alteryx, R, Python)
> Experience in leveraging AI solutions to automate reporting and analytical processes
