As a Senior Analyst, Global Privacy Program, you will serve as a member of the Global Privacy Operations team. The Privacy Analyst demonstrates the ability to work in a cross-functional team environment to support the global privacy program and its processes. The Privacy Analyst partners closely with other members of the program team and privacy counsel. Under the supervision of the Program Lead, and in partnership with counsel, the Privacy Program Analyst will work within the frameworks of privacy, compliance, and security, as well as administrative regulations and company policies and procedures, to guide internal stakeholders through privacy requirements and respond to requests within the purview of the program.
This is a remote position within the U.S. This position requires you to work on EST.
What you will do
Work with program leads and counsel to support the receipt, management, and appropriate response to inquiries regarding privacy practices from government and regulatory agencies, customers, patients, employees, and other stakeholders.
Support the execution of requirements with global/regional authorities and regulators, including filings, registrations, appointments, etc.
Conduct and review Data Privacy Impact Assessments, ensuring alignment with the global privacy DPIA directive and risk assessment requirements.
Assist with the review, assessment, and response to individual rights requests, including tracking metrics and KPIs for reporting.
Support ongoing auditing and monitoring activities in coordination with other appropriate functions, such as Internal Audit, Compliance, IT Security, and Legal.
Foster a continuous improvement mindset and propose enhancements to the privacy program and strategies informed by business needs, industry trends, and best practices.
Exercise excellent judgment in identifying and escalating issues to management and/or for legal review in a timely manner.
Maintain knowledge of Stryker’s product lines, competitive environment, and customers to better support functional initiatives and provide recommendations to internal stakeholders.
Monitor and track the status of privacy requests and assessments and proactively provide updates, as requested.
Identify system or process improvements that increase efficiency, enhance compliance, or reduce costs to the business.
What you will need
Required:
Bachelor’s degree
2+ years of work experience
Demonstrated privacy experience
Preferred:
Privacy/data protection certification (IAPP, CIPP-US, CIPP-E, CIPM)
Experience building privacy compliance operational programs
Experience with DPIA and DSR programs
Experience working in large organizations
Experience in healthcare organizations
Experience working with ServiceNow, OneTrust, or similar tools
Advanced knowledge of MS Excel
Experience managing cookie governance
Demonstrated commitment to promoting Stryker’s culture of integrity and compliance
Experience supporting high-volume or complex work in a timely and thorough manner with minimal rework
$69,500 – $144,200 base salary plus bonus eligibility and benefits. Individual pay is based on skills, experience, and other relevant factors.
