 We’re seeking for a senior developer, Client Onboarding and Regulatory Platform, you'll be involved in detailed technical design, development and implementation of applications using emerging technology choices.

InstitutionalSecurities_Technology

Institutional Securities Technology (IST) develops and oversees the overall technology strategy and bespoke technology solutions to drive and enable the institutional businesses and enterprise-wide functions. IST’s ‘clients’ include Fixed Income, Equities, Commodities, Investment Banking, Research, Prime Brokerage and Global Capital Markets. 

Advisory & Sales Distribution

Operations Technology is responsible for building and operating the technology platform catering to critical business processes at Morgan Stanley including Settlements, Confirmations, Regulatory Reporting, Position Keeping, Corporate Actions processing and other post-trade functions. The Firm operates at scale with up to 60 million trades processed on peak volume days and several trillion dollars of daily settlements with activity ongoing in multiple countries and currencies across the globe. There is a great breadth of financial products that our Operations plant handles across equity and fixed income, from cash products to complex derivatives and loans. 

Software Engineering

This is a senior developer position for Onboarding and Regulatory platform. You are required to be a technologist with solid command on distributed development tools and tech-stack - primarily Java and Java based web-development, angular, databases, frameworks for enterprise system development, enterprise integration patterns, cloud focused architecture and tools.

What you’ll do in the role:

• Experienced and innovative developer required, with strong analytical and technical skills, to join Client Relationship Management.
• The successful candidate will get the opportunity to work on a wide range of projects using a mix of the latest technologies.
• Current team is in a business where strong client relationships, innovative thinking and time to market are key success factors. The candidate also needs to be dynamic and creative in the way they look to apply technology to help the business be successful
• Typical projects could be architecting and driving the development of full stack applications for critical systems used for CRM and data analytics

What you’ll bring to the role:

At least 4 years of hand-on experience needed for role related and Domain knowledge
• Take ownership of specific development streams and executed out of India
• Scope out, estimate, plan, execute and track deliverables on projects
• Work effectively with colleagues across the global team
• Keeping abreast of new technologies, bringing ideas into the team to further enhance the technology platform and portfolio of applications for our business
• Having an adaptable, flexible and willing attitude towards learning new technologies depending on the circumstances or requirements presented
• Skills needed : Angular, Javascript, Typescript, HTML, CSS and Java (Good to have)
