Job Summary

Operates machines and production equipment in a manufacturing environment to meet quality, safety, and productivity requirements with limited supervision. Supports manufacturing processes through hands-on CNC machining and assembly operations while contributing to continuous improvement and team-based work systems.

Key Responsibilities 1. Health, Safety & Environmental (HSE)

  • Adhere to all HSE policies, standards, and regulatory requirements.
  • Identify, report, and correct workplace hazards within control.
  • Stop work immediately in case of major safety risks and report incidents.
  • Use appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times.
  • Participate in HSE training and promote a culture of safety and environmental responsibility.
  • Minimize environmental impact through responsible work practices.

2. Quality

  • Follow standard work instructions, process documentation, and quality procedures.
  • Apply quality tools such as Statistical Process Control (SPC), poka-yoke, and visual standards.
  • Perform inspections and identify non-conforming materials.
  • Escalate quality concerns to reduce cost and risk exposure.

3. Production & Delivery

  • Operate CNC machines, manual, and automated equipment for manufacturing and assembly processes.
  • Achieve production targets and adhere to cycle time and engineering standards.
  • Maintain workplace cleanliness, perform routine housekeeping, and machine care tasks.
  • Execute planned operator maintenance activities.
  • Collaborate with support teams to identify and resolve equipment issues.
  • Remain flexible to perform additional duties to meet production requirements.

4. Teamwork & Continuous Improvement

  • Communicate effectively with team members and cross-functional teams.
  • Actively participate in team-based work systems.
  • Support continuous improvement in safety, quality, processes, and material flow.
  • Complete assigned training and contribute to personal development initiatives.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent certification.
  • Additional technical training in CNC machining or assembly processes is preferred.
  • May require compliance with export control or regulatory licensing requirements.

  • Ability to follow standard operating procedures and safety guidelines.
  • Basic problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.

Experience

  • Some relevant work experience or intermediate-level knowledge gained through education, training, or on-the-job exposure in a manufacturing environment.
