Job Details
The ideal candidate will bring deep, strategic marketing expertise to drive transformation and business growth for Visa’s partner banks through high-impact, integrated marketing programs, led by robust insights.
Drive Insight Generation: Lead the process with Visa research teams to generate deep, actionable insights into consumer behavior, market trends, and partner bank business needs. Leverage these insights as the foundation for building strategic marketing campaign programs.
Develop and Execute Integrated Marketing Strategies: Design and lead the implementation of strategic marketing roadmaps for partner banks, identifying core growth opportunities aligned with key business and marketing objectives. Drive joint investment by presenting compelling, data driven recommendations.
Orchestrate 360 Marketing Campaigns: Own the end-to-end planning, development, and flawless execution of major joint marketing programs with partner banks and Visa’s agencies. These integrated programs include:
Brand building activities with 360 marketing campaigns
Strategic sponsorships and partnership activations
Advanced digital marketing initiatives
Advance Digital Marketing and Brand Maturity: Proactively champion the digital marketing transformation agenda for partner banks. Introduce and deploy global best practices, innovative digital capabilities, and advanced measurement frameworks to enhance brand relevance, improve business results, and elevate cardholder experiences.
Leverage Visa's Brand and Assets: Strategically integrate and activate the full spectrum of Visa assets—including Visa proprietary sponsorships, and industry capabilities—to deliver maximum marketing impact and competitive advantage for partner banks.
Translate Strategy into Executable Plans: Convert complex strategic goals from partner banks into detailed, commercially viable annual marketing plans, setting robust KPIs and ensuring measured outcomes are achieved.
Drive Internal Collaboration for Campaign Success: Ensure effective alignment and collaboration across all key internal Visa stakeholders (including Product, Sales, and Regional Marketing teams) to deploy a seamless, coordinated approach in support of campaign objectives with partner banks.
Lead & Develop Teams: Directly manage, mentor & develop a team of marketers
This is a hybrid position. Expectation of days in the office will be confirmed by your Hiring Manager.
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications:
8 or more years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor Degree or at least 5 years of experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 2 years of work experience with a PhD
Preferred Qualifications:
- 9 or more years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor Degree or 7 or more relevant years of experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 3 or more years of experience with a PhD
- We are seeking a candidate who excels at strategic marketing, driving integrated marketing campaign execution, and leading digital marketing maturity programs within a commercially focused environment.
- Partnerships & Stakeholder Management: Proven ability to manage complex, senior-level relationships with partner banks, agencies, and regional stakeholders, focusing on persuasion, negotiation, and driving joint outcomes based on business objectives.
- Insight-Driven Campaign Planning: Proven capability to translate complex marketing data and consumer insights into innovative and effective marketing strategies and measurable campaigns.
- • Marketing Execution Leadership: Significant experience combining deep marketing management expertise with a proven track record in planning and executing complex, 360 marketing campaigns that span digital, sponsorship, and traditional channels.
- Digital Marketing Transformation: Demonstrated success in leading digital marketing transformation or maturity programs, including familiarity with digital channels (e.g., performance marketing, social) and marketing data/analytics.
- Commercial Acumen and Negotiation: Exceptional marketing commercial acumen and a strong understanding of key P&L drivers. Proven ability to build business cases and secure partner investment for joint marketing initiatives. Sales exposure and proven negotiation skills are critical.
- Strategic Drive and Self-Management: A highly strategic, innovative, and results-oriented marketer with the ability to execute strongly. Must possess strong self-management skills, demonstrable drive, and the ability to autonomously govern projects on time and on budget.
- Experience & Education: 10-12 years of progressive experience in marketing & advisory, preferably within consumer and tech marketing, with a Bachelor's Degree. Financial Services experience is not mandatory and candidates with diverse backgrounds in tech, consulting and fast moving consumer goods marketing are highly encouraged to apply.
- People Leader: Prior people management experience strongly preferred
