This is a unique opportunity to work across all risk stripes—credit, market, operational, liquidity, and model risk—on a global scale. You will engage with model/EUC developers and reviewers, and collaborate across various business and functional areas within the firm. Key Responsibilities:
1. Governance & Framework Management
Streamline Processes: Enhance the execution of model control and EUC frameworks, ensuring adherence to governance, documentation standards, and policies through effective stakeholder management.
Inventory Oversight: Manage the maintenance of all models, tools, and EUCs within Finance, ensuring comprehensive oversight and control.
2. Documentation & Certification
Supervise Documentation: Ensure the completion of documentation and manage the broader model certification and exception processes.
Project Management: Establish project timelines, monitor task progression, and ensure timely completion within project scope.
3. Communication & Reporting
Effective Communication: Facilitate clear communication and reporting to functional teams, managers, stakeholders, and senior leadership to drive strategic decision-making.
Regulatory Insight: Provide input for presentation materials for model committees and regulatory exams, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery.
4. Risk Management & Process Improvement
Risk Identification: Proactively identify emerging risks and contribute to strategies for mitigation.
Process Enhancement: Support ongoing process improvements and automation initiatives to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
5. Leadership & Collaboration
Stakeholder Partnership: Collaborate with internal clients and stakeholders to understand control and governance requirements, identify improvement opportunities, and support quality assurance initiatives.
Cultural Leadership: Act as a role model and culture carrier, embodying the Firm's values and holding yourself and others accountable to Firm standards.
What You'll Bring:
Expertise: Advanced understanding of the Finance functional area, products, client segments, and industry environment.
Leadership Skills: Ability to manage a team and act as a subject matter expert when required.
Risk Articulation: Strong ability to articulate risk and impact to various audiences and create mitigation plans.
Analytical Skills: Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work with complex datasets, with great attention to detail.
Communication Excellence: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English, with the ability to develop rapport at all levels.
Adaptability: Flexibility to adapt to changing environments quickly and effectively.
Experience: At least 8 years of relevant experience is generally expected to possess the skills required for this role.
