Job Details
- Act as a key point of contact for existing and prospective clients on impact, ESG, and portfolio reporting topics
- Lead the preparation of client-facing materials including impact reports, portfolio reviews, dashboards, and ad hoc analyses
- Organize team and investor events including annual meetings, advisory board meetings, and webcasts
- Respond to client and prospective investor due diligence requests related to impact, ESG, and portfolio performance
- Direct junior staff in the creation and execution of materials
- Lead the collection, validation, and analysis of financial, operational, and sustainability data from portfolio companies
- Leverage new tools to develop and maintain portfolio-level datasets tracking financial performance, climate impact metrics (e.g., emissions avoided/reduced), and other sustainability KPIs
- Work closely with portfolio company management teams to improve the quality, consistency, and timeliness of data reporting
- Translate portfolio data into clear insights to support internal decision-making, portfolio monitoring, and value creation initiatives
- Support and eventually lead impact and ESG measurement processes, ensuring alignment with internal frameworks and external standards (e.g., SFDR, client-specific requirements) as the portfolio and regulatory landscape evolve
- Support the creation of bespoke strategies to maximize a portfolio company’s positive environmental impact
- Monitor portfolio performance against impact targets and identify risks, opportunities, and areas for improvement
- Periodically support the launch of new investment products and strategies, with a focus on climate growth equity
- Contribute to fund structuring, impact frameworks, disclosures, and marketing materials for new products
- Coordinate across investment, sales, legal, compliance, operational, and sustainability teams during product development and launch phases
- Maintain a strong understanding of global climate, ESG, and impact investing trends, regulation, and best practices
- Track evolving investor expectations, peer fund approaches, and emerging standards in impact measurement and sustainability reporting
- Contribute to internal knowledge-sharing, external thought leadership, and positioning of the Team as a market leader in climate investing
- Extensive experience in impact investing, private equity/infrastructure, ESG consulting, sustainability analytics, strategy, or a related field
- Strong analytical skills, with experience handling financial and sustainability datasets and leveraging software / AI tools
- Deep interest in climate change, decarbonization, and impact investing
- Experience working with ESG/impact frameworks, regulations, or reporting standards is highly desirable
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain technical data clearly to senior stakeholders and clients
- Highly organized, proactive, and comfortable operating in a fast moving, collaborative investment environment
- Strong leadership and people skills with ability to lead junior team members
