About ProCare at Stryker
ProCare is Stryker’s dedicated service and support division, focused on keeping life-saving medical technology running at its best. From surgical power tools to advanced imaging and navigation systems, our Field Service Engineering team plays a critical role in servicing, repairing, and maintaining equipment across hospitals nationwide. We go beyond the fix, partnering with clinical teams to optimise performance, minimise downtime, and support better outcomes for patients. At ProCare, service is more than a function, it’s a promise.
What You’ll DoAs Associate Manager, you will lead a team of 8-10 Field Service Engineers with accountability for performance, team culture, development and customer outcomes across your region. You will:
Set the standard for high performance: define what “great” looks like for your team and lead them there with clarity, consistency, and purpose;
Build and sustain a high‑performance culture: one that balances accountability with trust, ambition with care, and results with wellbeing
Take a commercially strategic view: understanding the broader business context, balancing short‑term delivery with long‑term capability and succession
Lead through influence and presence: regularly connecting with your team and customers across the region to coach, listen, and course‑correct in real time
Partner cross‑functionally: working closely with Sales, Operations, and Customer teams to ensure service excellence is fully embedded in the customer experience
Required:
A minimum of 3 years of people management experience and a passion for leading high performing teams.
Clear examples of building strong team culture, lifting performance and developing talent. Evidence of setting clear strategic direction for your team, not just managing day-to-day activity;
A commercial mind-set: you understand how team performance links to customer outcomes, cost, growth, and long-term sustainability and have examples from your experience ready to showcase this;
Strong relationship-building skills: you earn trust quickly, give clear feedback and lead with credibility and empeathy.
Ability to thrive in a fast paced and constantly changing service delivery environment - you create smart systems and set direction in ambiguity.
Preferred:
Experience in either the Med Tech industry or a field service leadership role is great, but it's definitely not a deal breaker - we're much more focused on finding a customer-centric, people-first leader.
