Cloud Database Administrator (AWS & SQL Server)

Scope: Full-time | Office: Colombia | Remote

How a day to day would look like in this role:  

• Continuous Management with the client.
• Continuous Managent of Component AWS.
• Component monitoring AWS.
• Attention incidents and report failures in Manufacturer.
• Remediations in vulnerabilities.
• Suuport and management Teams Lead. 

• Support the administration and monitoring of SQL Server databases running on AWS (RDS and EC2).

• Participate in database migration projects from on-premise environments to AWS, including planning, assessment, execution, and post-migration validation.

• Assist in the use of AWS Database Migration Service (DMS) and other AWS tools for secure and efficient data migration.

• Collaborate on performance tuning, backup and recovery strategies, and implementation of database security policies.

• Document procedures, configurations, and provide regular reports on database performance and health.
