We are looking for an experienced Azure Cloud Architect to help build, manage, and evolve SoftwareOne’s cloud services in the Microsoft Azure ecosystem. As such, you will act as a strategic advisor to customers, designing secure, scalable, AI-ready cloud platforms aligned with business objectives. This is a senior Azure generalist role, requiring wide enterprise architecture experience and deep expertise across infrastructure, security, governance, and modernization, as well as hands-on knowledge of modern Azure capabilities, including AI, Azure AI Foundry, Machine Learning, automation, container platforms (AKS), and DevOps practices.

 
Key Responsibilities 

• Architecture & Design: Design secure, scalable Azure and hybrid architectures with integrated AI/data capabilities and define end-to-end architecture standards, patterns, and design documentation across enterprise domains 
• AI, Data & Intelligent Solutions: Architect and govern enterprise AI solutions (AI landing zones, MLOps, responsible AI) and integrate AI across Microsoft ecosystem and enterprise systems, including presales use case evaluation 
• Cloud Security & Compliance: Design Zero Trust security and identity governance in Azure, implementing security platforms (Defender, Sentinel, Purview) and enforcing compliance and security baselines across workloads 
• Governance, Platform Engineering & FinOps: Define Azure Landing Zones and governance frameworks while driving platform engineering practices and FinOps-based cost optimization for scalable enterprise environments 
• Containers, AKS & Modernization: Architect and modernize cloud-native applications using AKS, containers, and serverless, including IaC, GitOps, and resilient, highly available platform design 
• Automation & DevOps: Design CI/CD and Infrastructure as Code solutions while implementing DevSecOps, automation, and MLOps pipelines for secure and scalable delivery 
• Migration & Enterprise Advisory: Lead Azure migration and modernization programs while providing enterprise advisory, presales support, architecture leadership, and mentoring 
• Architectural Knowledge & Modern Capabilities: Apply deep enterprise architecture expertise across distributed systems, governance, security, DR/BCP, and FinOps, including AI architecture patterns and third-party security integration
