At Stryker, our Project Design team delivers thousands of operating room and critical care layouts each year, supporting clinicians and sales teams nationwide. As a Staff Project Designer, you will lead the development of highly detailed, parametric Revit models that directly impact surgical workflow, patient safety, and construction outcomes.

This is not a drafting role — it’s a technical design position requiring deep Revit expertise, systems thinking, and strong cross-functional communication.

Remote (U.S.) — Central Time Zone Preferred

What You Will Do

  • Develop complex operating room and critical care layouts using advanced Revit modeling techniques
  • Create and maintain parametric, formula-driven Revit families, including nested components and configurable equipment systems
  • Maintain and enhance Revit templates, standards, shared parameters, and documentation workflows
  • Produce high-quality drawing packages and presentation-ready visualizations
  • Collaborate closely with Sales, Project Engineering, and Architects to refine layouts and resolve constraints
  • Provide technical guidance and best practices to other designers
  • Contribute to process improvement initiatives that increase efficiency, quality, and scalability
  • Ensure accuracy, constructability, and compliance in all design deliverables

What You Will Need

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum high school diploma with six years of relevant CAD experience, or associate degree with four years, or bachelor’s degree.
  • 4+ years of professional experience using Revit in a production environment
  • Demonstrated experience building and modifying complex Revit families
  • Strong understanding of parametric modeling principles
  • Ability to interpret architectural and engineering drawings
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience collaborating in remote or cross-functional environments

Preferred Qualifications

  • Healthcare or commercial construction experience
  • Experience developing Revit standards, templates, or content libraries
  • Familiarity with BIM coordination workflows
  • Experience with visualization workflows
  • Experience with SolidWorks or other parametric modeling tools
