We continue to look for potential candidates for our Graduate Trainee - Early Career Program in Bulgaria. In January we will start our selection process.

Our 24-month program is designed to give you a comprehensive understanding of our company while meeting your own career ambitions, to nurture critical leadership skills and competencies and expand your perspectives by participating in unique rotational assignments and projects.

Through experiential learning, formal training, performance management, and guidance from our business leaders through coaching and mentoring, we strive to support your growth, maximize your potential, and help you clarify your career aspirations by the end of the Program. Overview of the Early Career Program 

The Early Career Program gives you an opportunity to apply for a Graduate Trainee position starting in October 2025. 

This opportunity covers a 2-year Program, with 3 main assignments of 8 months each, rotating across the following departments: 

Commercial: Work closely with the brand teams to support product launches and bring AbbVie products to market. Gain a strong understanding of marketing fundamentals, strategy, sales, and commercial policies and practices. Define and implement brand strategies and productivity indicators used in measuring performance and efficiency. Manage planning, monitor the competitive environment, and develop a high level of product and therapeutic disease knowledge to promote the appropriate use of AbbVie products to our stakeholders. 

Customer Excellence: Develop understanding of the competitive landscape, navigate dynamics of the market, and establish a deep understanding of the drivers of AbbVie’s performance. 

Market Access: Cooperate on development of integrated access strategy. Define value proposition of brands. Monitor competitors and communicate potential impact to teams. Collaborate with cross-functional brand teams. 

Medical Affairs: Assist in responding to medical inquiries and update the medical information database with the latest clinical and product information. Support the preparation of scientific materials and communication materials. Support the organization of medical events. Ensure adherence to ethical standards and compliance with policies and regulations.


Qualifications

•    Master’s degree in medicine, pharmacy or natural sciences, economic studies (graduation period 2023-2025); additional business or finance qualification is an advantage

•    Internship of 1– 2 years is an advantage

•    Academic achievements with extracurricular activities

•    Experience using MS Office (Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint)

•    Fluency in English, additional language is an advantage

•    Native local language knowledge (Bulgarian)

•    International experience is a plus

•    Excellent communication & negotiation skills, leadership skills, experience in project management, customer orientation

•    Strategical way of thinking

•    Teamwork, adaptability, innovation and initiative

•    Excellent analytical skills and ability to identify, understand and resolve complex issues and problems

•    Passion: a desire to make a remarkable impact on the lives of patients

•    Curiosity: lifelong learner who approaches new challenges and opportunities with vigor and humility    

•    Global mindset to thrive in a diverse cultural environment and strong interest in mobility
