DESCRIPTION

As a Lead Investigator, you will play an essential role in fostering a respectful, ethical, and psychologically safe work environment. You will partner closely with HRBPs, People Support, Legal, and leaders across the business—always maintaining independence, empathy, and professionalism throughout the investigation journey. This regional role calls for strong judgment, cultural sensitivity, and the ability to collaborate confidently in a global matrix environment.

In this role, you will be trusted to:

  • Lead complex and sensitive workplace investigations with fairness, empathy, and objectivity—ensuring outcomes that are well‑documented, timely, and aligned with our values.
  • Conduct interviews, gather evidence, analyze findings, and prepare clear, confidential reports that balance employee experience, organizational needs, and compliance requirements.
  • Partner with HR, Legal, Compliance, and business leaders to identify trends, recommend meaningful actions, and strengthen our culture of trust and accountability.
  • Maintain high investigation standards through quality reviews, mentorship, capability-building sessions, and best‑practice sharing.
  • Support strategic initiatives and special projects aimed at building a world‑class global investigations function.

RESPONSIBILITIES

To be successful in this role you will need the following:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, Criminal Justice, or related field (Master’s preferred).
  • At least 7 years’ proven track record in conducting workplace investigations, whether in compliance, ER, internal audit, or related field.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication.
  • Experience operating across APAC, with understanding of jurisdictional nuances.
  • Lean Six Sigma / Yellow Belt certification (preferred).

QUALIFICATIONS

  • The role is responsible for investigations in China and the APAC region.
  • The role collaborates with business leaders and HR colleagues (HRBP and People Support) within both regions and works within the greater global investigations team.
  • A working understanding of Mandarin and English is required.
  • An understanding of regional investigations jurisdictional requirements for both regions is preferred.

The role can be based in China, Singapore or Australia.
