Job Summary

This role is responsible for operating machines and production equipment in a manufacturing environment to meet safety, quality, and productivity requirements. The position requires adherence to standard processes with limited supervision while contributing to continuous improvement, teamwork, and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities Health, Safety & Environmental (HSE)

  • Follow all HSE policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
  • Identify, stop, and report unsafe conditions, hazards, incidents, or injuries.
  • Use appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times.
  • Promote a culture of safety and interdependence within the team.
  • Minimize environmental impact through responsible work practices.
  • Participate in HSE training and safety improvement initiatives.

Quality

  • Adhere to standard work instructions, process documentation, and quality procedures.
  • Utilize quality tools such as Statistical Process Control (SPC) , poka-yoke (error-proofing), and visual standards.
  • Perform in-process and final quality inspections.
  • Identify and control non-conforming materials and escalate issues promptly.
  • Support actions to reduce defects, rework, and quality risks.

Delivery & Operations

  • Operate manual and automated machines (including CNC and assembly equipment) to meet production requirements.
  • Achieve daily production targets and maintain required cycle times or engineering standards.
  • Demonstrate competency in core manufacturing and assembly operations.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area, including housekeeping and machine cleaning.
  • Perform basic operator maintenance and care tasks.
  • Collaborate with maintenance and support teams to identify and address equipment issues.
  • Remain flexible to perform additional duties as required to meet business needs.

Teamwork & Continuous Improvement

  • Communicate effectively with team members, supervisors, and cross-functional support teams.
  • Participate in training and skill development aligned with business needs.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives related to safety, quality, processes, and material flow.
  • Support a collaborative and inclusive work environment.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent (required).
  • Technical certification or vocational training in manufacturing or machining (preferred).
  • Compliance with export control or regulatory licensing requirements, if applicable.

Skills

Technical Skills

  • Hands-on experience with CNC machines and/or assembly operations .
  • Basic understanding of manufacturing processes and production systems .
  • Familiarity with quality tools such as SPC and error-proofing techniques (poka-yoke).
  • Ability to follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and safety guidelines.
  • Basic troubleshooting and problem-solving skills in a production environment.
  • Understanding of equipment operation, process flow, and production standards.

QUALIFICATIONS

Experience

  • Some relevant manufacturing or production experience preferred.
  • Experience in CNC machining, assembly lines, or industrial production environments is an advantage.
  • Knowledge gained through education, training, or hands-on work experience.
  • Exposure to continuous improvement practices and lean manufacturing concepts is beneficial.
