Job Summary
The Manufacturing Operator is responsible for operating machines and production equipment in a safe, efficient, and quality-focused manner. This role involves working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment with direct guidance, contributing to the production of high-quality components using both manual and automated systems, including welding cells and robotic technologies.
Key Responsibilities
Health, Safety & Environmental (HSE)
- Immediately stop work and report any major injury hazards.
- Report all work-related injuries, illnesses, incidents, or hazards.
- Comply with all HSE standards, policies, procedures, and regulations.
- Use appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Promote a culture of safety and interdependence.
- Correct hazards within your control and capabilities.
- Minimize environmental impact through responsible work practices.
- Participate in HSE training and initiatives.
Quality
- Follow all standard work, process documentation, and quality procedures.
- Raise issues to minimize cost and quality risks.
- Perform quality inspections and identify non-conforming materials.
- Ensure adherence to product specifications and standards.
Delivery
- Operate manual and automated equipment to manufacture and assemble products.
- Meet production goals and maintain required cycle times.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, including routine housekeeping and machine care.
- Perform planned operator maintenance tasks.
- Support equipment maintenance and repair efforts with peers and skilled trades.
Teamwork
- Communicate effectively with team members and support staff.
- Complete required training and personal development activities.
- Actively participate in continuous improvement efforts related to safety, quality, and process efficiency.

Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- This position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations.

QUALIFICATIONS
Skills and Experience
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Prior welding experience preferred.
- Hands-on experience with welding cells and robotic systems.
- Familiarity with automation technologies.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
- Basic mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
