We are looking for a talented Senior Field Project Manager to join our team specializing in Service in the USA - 100% remote.
In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:
- Deliver complex projects end‑to‑end by defining scope, objectives, milestones, and success metrics—then executing to plan with tight schedule control.
- Align stakeholders early and often through structured planning sessions and clear, regular status updates that drive shared understanding and commitment.
- Hit performance goals by designing data‑driven project plans, tracking against KPIs/timelines, and course‑correcting quickly when variances emerge.
- De‑risk delivery by proactively identifying, analyzing, and mitigating risks using quality tools; escalate and implement viable alternatives fast.
- Resolve issues decisively with transparent issue logs, ownership assignment, and cross‑functional collaboration to remove blockers.
- Optimize budget and resources by planning capacity, assigning the right people to the right tasks, and making informed trade‑offs based on ROI.
- Elevate team capability through coaching, real‑time feedback, and model project hygiene (notes, RAID logs, databases) that improve execution discipline.
- Scale organizational learning by documenting lessons learned and sharing best practices so future projects start smarter and finish stronger.
RESPONSIBILITIES
To be successful in this role you will need the following:
- Apply financial acumen to interpret KPIs, budgets, forecasts, and ROI to support sound project and business decisions.
- Use business insight to align project outcomes with organizational strategy, market conditions, and customer priorities.
- Communicate clearly and effectively across audiences, tailoring messages to executives, team members, and customers.
- Maintain strong customer focus by building trusted relationships and delivering solutions that meet or exceed expectations.
- Manage complexity by synthesizing large volumes of data, resolving ambiguity, and making timely, informed decisions.
- Handle conflict constructively by addressing issues directly, minimizing disruption, and keeping teams focused on outcomes.
- Plan and prioritize work effectively to meet commitments and ensure alignment with organizational goals.
- Proactively identify, assess, and mitigate project issues and risks using standard tools and disciplined processes.
- Develop and manage project resource plans (expense and headcount) to ensure efficient and effective utilization.
- Control project schedules using recommended tools and processes to deliver within agreed timelines.
- Manage project scope rigorously to ensure all required work—and only the required work—is completed successfully.
Education, Licenses, Certifications:
- College, university, or equivalent degree required.
- This position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations.
Experience:
- Intermediate level of relevant work experience, including team leadership experience, required.
QUALIFICATIONS
Additional Information:
- Lead hiring, onboarding, and training of Field Project Managers
- Provide staffing coverage and fill in for open FPM roles as needed
- Support mobilization for new data center projects and resource planning
- Coach Field Project Managers on execution standards and best practices
- Support complex project and commissioning execution
- Serve as escalation support for project delivery issues
- Coordinate workload and staffing with Operations and Service Managers
- Conduct site visits to provide hands-on execution support
- Ensure consistent project documentation and reporting
- Support performance management and career development
Compensation:
Please note that the salary range provided is a good faith estimate on the applicable range. The final salary offer will be determined after considering relevant factors, including a candidate’s qualifications and experience, where appropriate.
