Tasks:
- Software development, configuration, and documentation for new and existing assistance and visualization systems (SCADA), in collaboration with internal (partly international) colleagues and external partners and suppliers
- Creating concepts and solutions for connecting machines and systems to higher-level systems (e.g., MES and ERP)
- Transitioning developments from the test platform to productive systems, including test development and coordination, and, if necessary, installation
- 2nd/3rd level support to ensure operational capability in collaboration with the global support team
YOUR PROFILE – Qualifications you can bring to us:
- Completed (technical) university studies, ideally in computer science or electrical engineering, or training with corresponding knowledge and experience
- Experience in software development and web interface design
- Experience with SQL servers and high-level programming languages (e.g., Python, JAVA, C#)
- Experience in connecting shop floor signals to higher-level networks through various communication channels
- Knowledge and experience with HMI/SCADA tools and software, ideally experience with Ignition from Inductive Automation
- Experience in solution design and documentation
- Basic knowledge in virtualization and versioning (VM, Docker, GIT, etc.)
- Experience with agile methodologies (e.g., SCRUM) and frequently used tools like Azure DevOps or Jira
- Passion for technical topics such as digitalization
- Practical experience with future-oriented technologies (e.g., cloud solutions, IIOT, big data, interface definition (MQTT, OPC UA))
- Interest in international collaboration
- Willingness to travel for workshops and go-live support
- Structured, organized, solution-oriented, and analytical working style
Team player, presentation and communication skills, as well as a high level of initiative and independence
Minimum Qualifications (Required):
• Bachelor's degree in EE or related discipline & 5+ years of work experience
