We are looking for a talented NPI Manufacturing Engineer- Junior to join our team specializing in Manufacturing for our Cummins in Ciudad Juarez, Chihuahua. ( Role 100% on site)

Job Summary:

Contributes to the new process planning, designing, purchasing, and implementation of changes to the manufacturing equipment and systems while contributing to teams. (Pumps and Injectors components)

In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:

  • Support the implementation and improvement of manufacturing processes, ensuring alignment with safety, quality, and business goals.
  • Apply manufacturing and continuous improvement principles to optimize equipment, processes, and standard work.
  • Contribute to project execution by supporting planning, timelines, and cross-functional coordination.
  • Monitor project progress, communicate updates, and help resolve issues in collaboration with different teams.
  • Assist in budget tracking, risk identification, and overall project analysis using quality tools.
  • Partner with internal and external stakeholders to drive project success.
  • Maintain accurate project documentation and share key learnings to support continuous improvement.
  • Follow all safety procedures during implementation and daily activities.
  • Reporting the implementation progress to the Management.

To be successful in this role, you will need the following:

  • More than 2 years experience as a Manufacturing Engineer prefered in New Product Introduction.
  • Experience in manufacturing documentation processes, including FMEA, Control Plans , and process documentation.
  • Experience managing purchase orders and supporting procurement-related activities.
  • Strong English communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate in a global environment.

Nice to have skills (desirable):

  • Experience in machinery implementation and new process development.
  • Experience in project management using Microsoft Project or similar project management tools.
  • Experience in SPC (Statics Process Control)
  • Minitab experience
  • 4.0 Industry: MES/IoT para trazabilidad y data

Qualifications

Education, Licenses, Certifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Mechatronics Engineering, Electromechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field preferred.

Experience:

  • Experience in project management using Microsoft Project or similar project management tools.
  • Experience in machinery implementation and new process development.
