About the team

At Zillow, our mission is to give people the power to unlock life’s next chapter. The Elevate team powers the advertising experiences that connect brands and service providers to hundreds of millions of Zillow visitors each month.
We operate at the intersection of consumer experience, marketplace dynamics, and revenue generation. Whether it’s scaling ad delivery platforms across search and home detail pages, integrating on-site and off-site media, or enabling experimentation and measurement at scale, Elevate plays a critical role in Zillow’s growth strategy.
This is a high-impact team where programs directly influence revenue, customer experience, and advertiser value.

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Technical Program Manager who can effectively lead the development and ongoing success of large scale media solutions. You will operate as a strategic execution leader,  aligning Product, Engineering, Data Science, AdOps, and external partners to deliver scalable, reliable, revenue-generating ad capabilities.

The role drives three primary domains:

1. Program & Platform Delivery Leadership: Own end-to-end execution of complex, multi-team initiatives. Translate strategy into clear, dependency-aware plans, proactively manage risk, and drive predictable delivery across engineering, product, and data. Establish scalable program mechanisms that improve quality, speed, and operational discipline.

2. Cross-Org & Marketplace Alignment Align diverse stakeholders across consumer surfaces, revenue teams, and external partners to deliver cohesive ad experiences. Navigate competing priorities, influence without authority, and ensure technical execution supports marketplace dynamics and strategic revenue goals.

3. Operational Excellence & Experimentation: Ensure program collaboration is reliable, measurable, and continuously improving. Drive rigor in experimentation, performance monitoring, and incident management while partnering with Product and Data teams to translate results into actionable business impact.

This role has been categorized as a Remote position. “Remote” employees do not have a permanent corporate office workplace and, instead, work from a physical location of their choice, which must be identified to the Company. U.S. employees may live in any of the 50 United States, with limited exceptions.

In addition to a competitive base salary and benefits, this position is also eligible for equity awards based on factors such as experience, performance and location.

  • Strong systems thinking,  able to reason across architecture, dependencies, and business impact

  • Experience driving experimentation frameworks and data-informed decision-making

  • Track record of influencing senior stakeholders and driving alignment in ambiguous environments

  • Here at Zillow - we value the experience and perspective of candidates with non-traditional backgrounds. We encourage you to apply if you have transferable skills or related experiences
