Job Details

The Independent Testing Change Squad is seeking a dynamic and experienced professional to join as a P4-level contributor within Morgan Stanley Operations. This role is central to driving change initiatives across the Independent Testing function, with a focus on enhancing regulatory compliance, operational efficiency, and testing automation.
The successful candidate will lead and support change efforts across multiple testing streams, including front-to-back testing, diagnostic testing, stratification, and eligibility testing. They will also play a critical role in onboarding and implementing testing frameworks for new regulatory regimes as they emerge globally.
Key responsibilities include:
> Coordinating the change squad across global teams, ensuring timely execution and resolution of any change related initiatives.
> Designing and refining diagnostic and eligibility testing methodologies to improve coverage and precision.
> Supporting testing across 11 global transaction reporting regimes (MiFID II, EMIR, SFTR, BOI, SEC, CFTC, CSA, HKMA, ASIC, MAS, JFSA), with expansion into additional jurisdictions.
> Driving automation initiatives across testing functions, leveraging tools such as Alteryx, Power BI, UI Path, SQL, and Python.
> Collaborating with stakeholders across Compliance, Risk, and Technology to ensure alignment and transparency in testing outcomes.
> Developing supervisory controls and monitoring frameworks to proactively manage operational and regulatory risks.
> Preparing and delivering executive-level reporting and insights to senior stakeholders across regions.
> Leading training and upskilling initiatives to ensure team readiness and capability growth.
> Staying abreast of industry developments and regulatory changes to ensure testing frameworks remain current and effective.
This role offers exposure to a wide range of regulatory regimes and operational processes, making it ideal for candidates seeking to deepen their expertise in global transaction reporting and risk control. Qualifications:
> Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Risk Management, or a related discipline.
> Minimum 6 years of experience in risk management, regulatory control, or operations, with at least 3 years in a leadership or change management role.
> Deep understanding of testing methodologies, regulatory frameworks, and risk management principles.
> Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and regulatory requirements.
> Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage change in a fast-paced environment.
> Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.


Preferred Skills:
> Experience in diagnostic and eligibility testing within a regulatory or operational context.
> Familiarity with global transaction reporting regimes and their operational implications.
> Proficiency in automation and data analytics tools (Alteryx, Power BI, UI Path) and scripting languages (SQL, Python).
> Ability to translate regulatory requirements into actionable testing strategies.
> Experience in developing training programs and supervisory controls.
