As a Supply Chain Programs Manager Level 3 (Senior Manager), located in Chandler, AZ, you’ll be a linchpin in missions of paramount importance, defining the art of the possible from day one.

In this job, you will be responsible for managing a team of Material Program Managers. In addition, other duties include:
- Responsible and accountable for the strategy, planning, and execution of all material and services content for a collection of Programs.
- Acts as the main focal point for the Program Management Office (PMO) for the entire supply chain and coordinates cross-functionally to ensure that all supply chain commitments are met, and that appropriate mitigation plans are developed and executed to address any programmatic risks related to suppliers.
- Develops the material strategy and leads the activities for GSC in all phases of the Business Acquisition Process (BAP).
- Ensures that prior to program execution, all elements of the proposed program(s) plans have complete and accurate schedules, budgets, make/buy plans, risk and opportunity management, and procurement and subcontracts strategies.
- Leads Supply Chain Program execution and is accountable for resource planning, PMO engagement and cross functional communications, driving material cost management, forecasting predictability, schedule performance, risk/opportunity management, and supplier issue resolution.
- Briefs the PMO and executive management on material status and issues affecting both Program cost and schedule performance.
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree and 8 years’ (master’s with 6 years) of relevant in operations, supply chain, business, or program management
- Minimum of 3 years in a formal lead/management position
- Advanced knowledge of supply chain management techniques/requirements in a DOD environment, practices, processes, tools, and planning including Subcontract management in development program phases with Cost Plus contract types, processes, tools, and planning
- Must have the ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance
Preferred Qualifications:
- Current and active Security Clearance
- Familiarity with the 3 Element Approach to Supplier Performance Management
- High proficiency with Costpoint, particularly Supply Chain/MRP transactions
- Advanced Excel skills including pivot tables, macros, advanced formulas and building reports
- Experience and/or knowledge in a manufacturing environment
- Direct experience in procurement or subcontract management within the FAR/DFAR’s environment
- Strong strategic, innovative, and critical thinking skills
Salary Range: $146,800 - $220,200
The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate’s experience, education, skills and current market conditions.
Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
