DESCRIPTION

The Supply Chain Analyst uses analytical and quantitative methods to understand, predict, and enhance supply chain performance. This role is responsible for demand–supply alignment, materials and production planning, performance analysis, and reporting to support business continuity and operational excellence. The analyst works cross-functionally to identify issues, recommend improvements, and drive data-backed decision-making across the end-to-end supply chain.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive precise alignment of incoming orders with manufacturing plants through weekly Foundational Planning Control (FPC) and demand–supply planning meetings.
  • Lead the managed demand process for constrained engines, ensuring accurate allocation of production slots in line with agreed plans.
  • Create, maintain, and distribute FPC, managed demand, and supply chain performance reports to relevant stakeholders.
  • Rigorously document weekly FPC and managed demand decisions, actions, and requests; publish meeting notes to ensure stakeholder alignment.
  • Analyze supply chain KPIs to identify gaps, improvement opportunities, and corrective action plans.
  • Navigate critical and time-sensitive situations with composure, implementing rapid response strategies to minimize disruptions and ensure business continuity.
  • Provide analytical support to one or more supply chain functional areas using standard processes, tools, and information systems.
  • Ensure data integrity, accuracy, and repeatability of all analytics, dashboards, and reports.
  • Participate in Six Sigma, continuous improvement, and supply chain optimization projects.
  • Utilize enterprise planning systems as the primary tools for daily operations, while leveraging ad-hoc tools as needed for root cause analysis and problem solving.

Technical & Functional Skills

  • Supply Chain Planning, Production Planning, Demand Planning, and Supply–Demand Alignment.
  • Capacity planning and production slot allocation for constrained environments.
  • Materials Planning System utilization to manage supply and demand plans and resolve exception messages through root cause analysis.
  • Plan for Every Part (PFEP) application across planning, design, and operational processes to ensure right part, right time, right quantity, and right place.
  • Inventory management and optimization using analytics and algorithms within defined constraints.
  • Strong capability in data extraction, transformation, modeling, interpretation, and presentation to support value-based decision-making.
  • KPI management with the ability to assess performance gaps, understand end-customer impact, and balance trade-offs across metrics.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (mandatory).
  • Exposure to Power BI and SQL (preferred but optional).

QUALIFICATIONS

Qualifications

  • College, university, or equivalent bachelor’s degree required (Supply Chain, Engineering, Operations, Analytics, or related field preferred).
  • Minimal to intermediate level of professional experience in supply chain, planning, analytics, or a related domain.
