What you will do
- Lead end‑to‑end marketing strategy and execution for assigned product portfolios in Hong Kong, driving sustainable sales growth, profitability, and market share.
- Develop and deliver the portfolio roadmap, including short‑ and long‑term planning, prioritization, and commercialization strategies aligned with regional and global direction.
- Own portfolio commercialization plans, ensuring successful translation from strategy to execution across launch, growth, and in‑market optimization phases.
- Conduct comprehensive market, customer, and competitive analyses to inform portfolio decisions across the Hong Kong healthcare and medical device landscape.
- Define and regularly review customer targeting, funnel management, and segmentation approaches to maximize conversion, penetration, and portfolio performance.
- Translate market insights into clear portfolio strategies, value propositions, and go‑to‑market recommendations for distinct customer segments.
- Act as brand steward, ensuring alignment with global brand strategy while appropriately localizing positioning, messaging, and campaigns for the Hong Kong market.
- Develop and execute integrated marketing and omnichannel plans, aligned with local customer engagement preferences and regulatory requirements.
- Plan and deliver marketing education and physician training workshops, ensuring execution of planned marketing expenditure and measurable impact on adoption and capability building.
- Partner with Sales leadership to shape go‑to‑market models, evaluate business cases, assess risk, and support data‑driven trade‑off decisions.
- Own pricing, contracting, forecasting, and marketing budget decisions, ensuring disciplined investment and strong return on marketing expenditure.
- Collaborate closely with regional and global teams to localize and execute strategic and commercial initiatives accurately and on time.
- Work cross‑functionally with Operations, Regulatory, Quality, Finance, and related teams to ensure seamless, compliant commercial execution.
- Establish and track clear KPIs to measure portfolio performance, marketing effectiveness, commercialization success, and training impact.
- Provide mentorship and informal leadership to junior team members and cross‑functional partners while upholding the highest ethical and compliance standards.
What you will need
Required
- Bachelor’s degree.
- Minimum 7 years of progressive experience in Sales and/or Marketing, including product or portfolio management responsibility.
- Prior experience in the medical device industry.
- Hands‑on professional experience working in or with the Hong Kong market.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
Preferred
- Experience with capital equipment portfolios.
- Exposure to Asia‑Pacific regional or multinational business environments.
- Experience using customer relationship management or marketing analytics tools.
