3rd Shift: Sunday - Friday 11pm-7am

What you will do:

• Lead and instruct warehouse personnel
• Create and maintain a proactive work environment
• Directly train warehouse personnel
• Department quality - stimulate maximum efficiency and productivity of warehouse personnel
• Pre-plan work assignments for warehouse personnel
• Coordinate workload with other lead person and departments to improve efficiency
• Issue disciplinary action as necessary to employees
• Prepare and issue performance evaluations to employees
• Participate in evaluating potential new hires with warehouse manager
• Notify warehouse manager of any unusual problems
• Maintain company policies, safety rules and keeps work area in a clean and orderly condition
• Assist in evaluating the receiving function for maximum efficiency
• Assist in evaluating the warehouse locations for maximum efficiency
• Monitor warehouse bar-code system: check for errors to assure accuracy

What you need

Required:

• High School or GED
• Minimum 5 years warehouse experience

Preferred

• Associates degree
• Experience with Skyjacks, Electrical Hand-jacks, and other equipment
• Experience with Warehouse Software and working with computer interfacing
