DESCRIPTION

Job Summary

Performs skilled activities that support manufacturing business needs. Operates and maintains machinery and equipment with limited guidance, ensuring safety, quality, and efficiency. Applies technical knowledge to improve machining processes and supports cross-functional teams in achieving production goals.

Key Responsibilities Health, Safety & Environmental (HSE)

  • Stop work and report any major injury hazards immediately.
  • Comply with all HSE standards, policies, procedures, and regulations.
  • Use appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
  • Promote a culture of safety and interdependence.
  • Participate in HSE training and corrective actions to minimize environmental impact.

Quality

  • Apply high standards of workmanship and craftsmanship.
  • Perform quality inspections and support failure analysis.
  • Follow process documentation and quality procedures.
  • Provide feedback for preventive maintenance and raise issues to minimize cost and quality risks.

Delivery

  • Execute skilled activities as per defined roles and responsibilities.
  • Maintain and repair equipment, and document maintenance activities.
  • Keep work areas clean and organized.
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to reduce constraints and improve processes.

Teamwork

  • Communicate effectively with team members and support staff.
  • Engage in training and personal development aligned with business needs.
  • Actively participate in Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) efforts.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent certification.
  • May require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations.

QUALIFICATIONS

Skills and Experience

  • Familiarity with machine tools and manufacturing equipment.
  • Proficiency in CNC programming languages.
  • Knowledge of cutting tools and fixture design for optimized machining.
  • Experience in precision machining, assembly, testing, and cleanliness standards.
  • Understanding of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing).
  • Ability to analyze machining processes for efficiency and quality improvements.
  • Willingness to work in shifts.
  • Strong problem-solving skills.
  • Effective communication and documentation abilities.
  • Experience working with ME KPIs and process documentation.
  • Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
