Overview

Postion Overview: 
The Associate BI Analyst plays a critical role in supporting the reporting needs of various departments, ensuring accurate data analysis and process documentation. The successful candidate will assist in developing and maintaining reports, tracking issues resolution, and document procedures to streamline operations. 

The right candidate will have strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to navigate through operational and technical day-to-day challenges to ensure issues are resolved in a timely fashion.

Your Impact: 

  • Generating and maintaining regular and ad-hoc reports for various stakeholders. 
  • Assisting in the development and documentation of new reporting processes. 
  • Tracking and analyzing data to identify trends and provide actionable insights. 
  • Collaborating with team members to ensure data accuracy and consistency. 
  • Supporting the documentation of standard operating procedures and best practices. 
  • Assisting in tracking project progress. 
  • Striving to improve process; isolating areas for improvement and delivering change for effectiveness and efficiency. 
  • Troubleshoot data input/output format as it relates to claim structure (JSON) as defined in the API data dictionary 
  • Test and troubleshoot claim results as it relates to backend processing (JSON) using third party automation tools such as Postman 
  • Support systems and partner integration testing, reports, and correspondence testing 
  • Support capturing defects, performing initial triage, tracking and re-testing remediation. 
  • Follow all policies related to handling and access to client and PHI data 
  • Perform all job functions consistent with HealthEdge Source policies and procedures, including those which govern the handling of PHI and PII 
     

What You Bring: 

  • Technical experience with health insurance systems, especially with healthcare insurance payors, focusing on software integration. 
  • Exposure to projects involving data analysis and migrations, including data mapping, transformation, and results reconciliation. 
  • Basic understanding of Restful APIs, JSON, and tools like Postman. 
  • Familiarity with gathering and analyzing requirements for enterprise applications. 
  • Knowledge of CMS 1500 and UB04 claims forms. 
  • Understanding of Medicare claim pricing and editing. 
  • Basic knowledge of XML and JSON. 
  • Familiarity with SQL databases and understanding of tables and relations. 
  • A four-year degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related fields. 
  • Experience with issue tracking systems like Jira, Azure DevOps, or ServiceNow.

**The annual US base salary range for this position is $50,000 to $79,000. This salary range may cover multiple career levels at HealthEdge. Final compensation will be determined during the interview process and is based on a combination of factors including, but not limited to, your skills, experience, qualifications and education.
