The Strategy and Transformation team at Morgan Stanley is a dynamic and innovative organization that serves as a center of AI enablement for the firm. The team is responsible for deploying advanced systems that utilize generative artificial intelligence to optimize business processes. The team oversees governance and control measures to ensure the ethical and responsible use of AI technologies. The team is committed to fostering a culture of continuous learning and providing education on AI technologies to other departments within the company.

We are seeking an innovative change management professional to join our Strategy and Transformation team. As a key driver of our awareness and education programs, you will play a crucial role in promoting AI literacy across the Firm. This position offers the opportunity to collaborate with cross-functional teams, oversee program milestones, and contribute to the growth of AI understanding and adoption. This role partners closely with GenAI governance, Risk, HR, and Technology to ensure alignment between policy, solutions, and employee behavior.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Curriculum Design and Management:

  • Assess learning and business needs related to GenAI.
  • Translate complex GenAI concepts, risks, and capabilities into accessible, relevant learning experiences through a mix of curation, content authoring, aggregation of information, and AI first solutions.
  • Design and implement learning tailored to different roles and businesses through collaboration with cross functional teams, ensuring employees are equipped to utilize GenAI tools effectively.
  • Keep abreast of GenAI advancements and change management trends to update and optimize learning and adoption.

Strategic Change Management & Transformation:

  • Drive adoption of GenAI tools and capabilities through structured change approaches, targeted engagement, and sustained learning reinforcement.
  • Collaborate with business leads and end users to identify barriers to adoption and implement targeted engagement initiatives.
  • Provide day‑to‑day operational leadership for GenAI communications and advise business partners as needed on communications, ensuring consistency, quality, and momentum.
  • Manage an ongoing change management network including onboarding new members, regular communications, live session logistics, and regular program support.

Performance Measurement and Reporting:

  • Gather data and track metrics to assess the impact of education and engagement efforts on employee literacy and adoption.
  • Provide actionable insights and recommendations for future projects based on program experiences, training and adoption data, and partner and learner feedback.
  • Execute program reporting and create presentations for program value proposition, status, and impact.

Content Development: Develop engaging and informative content for the AI literacy program, ensuring it is relevant, up-to-date, and accessible to all employees.

Communication Strategy: Partner with our corporate communications teams to develop, own, and execute internal communication plans to keep the organization informed about training opportunities, upcoming events, and other relevant updates. Advise on communication best practices and unify messaging across platforms and services.

Risk Management: Ensure training initiatives comply with company policies, regulatory requirements, and ethical guidelines.

Stakeholder Management: Manage key stakeholder relationships and communicate strategic goals and outcomes of the program. 

QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS REQUIRED OR PREFERRED:

  • Learning and Development Expertise: Proven experience in designing and implementing large-scale training programs, with the ability to create engaging content tailored to various learning styles and professional levels.
  • Strategic Change Management: Significant experience leading change management, transformation, or learning initiatives with the ability to strategize and implement change initiatives across a diverse workforce.
  • GenAI Knowledge:  Experience working with or supporting GenAI or advanced technology enablement programs. Maintain awareness of technological advancements and integrate new knowledge into training programs.
  • Content Development: Strong writing and content creation skills, with the ability to produce and/or edit clear, informative, and engaging training materials. Experience in managing content development teams or working closely with subject matter experts to ensure accuracy and relevance of training content.
  • Stakeholder Management: Strong leadership and relationship management skills to engage with and influence key stakeholders. Ability to articulate strategic goals and outcomes and negotiate effectively to align diverse groups with the organization’s GenAI objectives.
  • Performance Measurement and Reporting: Skills in data analysis and reporting, with excellent written and verbal communication skills; experience producing executive-level materials.
  • Risk Management: Knowledge of the AI governance and regulatory landscape. Experience operating in highly regulated industries, such as financial services, is a plus.
  • Adaptability: Ability to thrive in a face-paced, dynamic environment and adapt quickly to changing priorities and requirements.  Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Expected base pay rates for the role will be between $120,000 and $200,000 per year at the commencement of employment. However, base pay if hired will be determined on an individualized basis and is only part of the total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, incentive compensation, discretionary bonuses, other short and long-term incentive packages, and other Morgan Stanley sponsored benefit programs.
