Role Summary:
We are seeking an AI Product Lead to drive the development, deployment, and adoption of next-generation AI solutions across the capital markets franchise. This role sits at the intersection of capital markets, technology, and product strategy, focusing on developing and scaling innovative tools that improve transaction execution, market analysis, and banker productivity.
The successful candidate will lead the lifecycle of AI-enabled products used across GCM while working closely with Strats, technology teams, bankers, syndicate desks, and senior leadership to identify opportunities where AI can deliver measurable impact. Key focus areas include building an ecosystem of AI agents, driving adoption of AI across the division, empowering an internal AI Ambassador network, and helping define and execute GCM’s broader AI and technology strategy.
Responsibilities:
AI Strategy: Help define and execute GCM’s AI strategy across capital markets workflows. Identify opportunities where AI, automation, and data analytics can improve transaction preparation, market analysis, and client engagement.
Collaborate to Scale AI: Partner with Strats and engineering teams to design AI solutions that automate analysis and generate insights. Ensure responsible deployment of AI solutions within enterprise and regulatory frameworks. Communicate product roadmaps, objectives, and progress to stakeholders.
Adoption: Drive adoption of AI solutions across GCM teams. Train users and support internal AI ambassadors to expand adoption and identify new use cases. Measure success through usage metrics, productivity improvements, and business impact.
Vendor Integration: Evaluate and integrate external technology platforms, vendor tools, and financial data sources where appropriate. Ensure new technology solutions integrate effectively with existing data infrastructure and systems.
Continuous Improvement: Monitor product quality and adoption metrics to ensure tools deliver meaningful value. Gather feedback from users to continuously refine capabilities and improve user experience.
Requirements / Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
4+ years of relevant experience in financial services, consulting, technology, or product development.
Experience in capital markets, investment banking, financial technology, or related markets roles strongly preferred.
Strong understanding of technology platforms and AI tools.
Familiarity with software development workflows and product development processes.
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with the ability to manage complex projects.
Ability to operate effectively in fast-paced environments with competing priorities.
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills across technical and business audiences.
Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to think strategically and execute operationally.
Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and collaborative approach.

Expected base pay rates for the role will be between $225,000 - $250,000 per year for Vice President, at the commencement of employment. However, base pay if hired will be determined on an individualized basis and is only part of the total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, incentive compensation, discretionary bonuses, other short and long-term incentive packages, and other Morgan Stanley sponsored benefit programs.
