Qualifications
- Analyze and plan material needs to maintain optimal inventory levels.
- Monitor reorder points to ensure timely stock replenishment.
- Daily review to release PR/PO.
- Work with GPD and Sales to identify risks related to material changes and address inventory reserves.
- Plan and manage material movement in coordination with purchasing, warehousing, and production, including negotiating lead times with suppliers to ensure timely deliveries, ETA update for PD confirmation.
- Working with Sales/Finance to analyze forecast abnormalities.
- Cooperating with material planner in other AD sites (and global supply chain team) to share/buying excess stock.
- Provide information to determine status of current orders and to forecast needs.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree. 1-3 years in material planning or related experience.
- Excellent analytical, mathematical, organizational, verbal and written communication skills and detail-oriented.
- Ability to interface with cross-functional groups to define and execute overall requirements.
- Ability to conduct research, prepare comprehensive reports and present complex statistical information in a clear and succinct fashion.
- Ability to work well with all levels of management and employees.
- General Materials Management, and Logistics knowledge.
- Familiarity in process documentation and improvement.
- Understanding of applicable computer systems, such as Microsoft Office, Lotus Notes and function specific software.
