As Senior Quality Engineer, Product Transfer, you will be involved across all our divisions to drive successful product transfers by ensuring quality, optimizing costs, and improving services for our customers, all while maintaining compliance with both internal and external standards.

Who we want

• Support all transfers globally, (Supplier to Supplier, Supplier to Stryker, Stryker to Supplier, Stryker to Stryker).
• Provide interpretation and guidance on Regulations, Corporate and Site Local procedures as they relate to quality activities such as FMEA, MSA’s, Validations and Qualifications.  
• Point of contact for quality for Product transfers at Scoping, Planning and Execution phases.
• Enable successful completion of Product transfer to achieve its quality, cost and time requirements.
• Identify Product transfer quality risks/gaps and provide solutions to correct.
• Act as the technical quality expert that sets quality strategy by utilizing a risk-based approach around FAI’s, Inspection Certification, leveraging etc.
• Provide expertise for at least 2 quality specialty associated with Product transfer and supports Product Transfer Process training where required
• Provides feedback to lessons learnt for each completed Product transfer and drive continuous optimization of Product Transfer Process

What you need

Required:

• Bachelor of Science, Engineering or related subject.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in quality, manufacturing, product transfer, and/or validations in highly regulated industries.
• Fluent in both English and Spanish.
• Availability to work under a 18-month contract.

    
Preferred:

• Have a good understanding of engineering and machine tool fundamentals.
• Strong knowledge of Quality Concepts and Risk Based Techniques (e.g. FMEA, Risk, Statistics).
• Advanced degree/Lean Six Sigma training.
