We are looking for an enthusiastic recent graduate or student to join our Procurement Team in Cameri (NO). As a Purchasing Intern in Cummins-Meritor you will have the opportunity to work with the most powerful heavy duty trackmakers companies, in the automotive product development field, working in an international and multicultural environment.
You will part of the EU Axles Purchasing office within the EU headquarter, supporting and learning Cummins Purchasing best practice in executing activity based on EU Axles Purchasing short- and long-term strategy. We offer a 6 month internship. The job is fully onsite (no smart-working available).
RESPONSIBILITIES
In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:
- Supports in the analysis and calculation of the main purchasing indicators (NMP)
- Supports the RfI/RfQ activities and negotiations with the suppliers
- Analysis of the suppliers' offers and cost breakdown
- Supports in the application within the supplier portal (MIS) of certifications, procedures and purchasing tools
QUALIFICATIONS
To be successful in this role you will need the following:
- MSc (or student) in Engineering or Economic subjects. Preferred Italian degrees are “Economia Aziendale” and “Ingegneria Industriale”.

- English - Advanced level (B2 / C1)
- Italian - Advanced level (B2 / C1)
- Good knowledge of MS Office tools, especially Excel and Power Point.
